Oil dipstick routing after headers

Does anyone have a picture of how they routed their dipstick after installing headers? I just put in Edelbrock headers and cant get it routed neatly. Also, is there any aftermarket dipsticks that will work better?

You could oh so carefully bend the tube for fitment. You're taking a big chance though, if you begin bending and it crimps. You're done for.

Thats what I tried to do, but I am having problems getting it bent correctly and then getting it back into the block. The Edelbrocks are pretty tight to the block. Did you run yours on the outside of the header or closer to the block?

I don't have a set of TES headers. I have Pacesetter LT's just sitting in the box. I'm waiting for my true duals.

Thanks, I was able to find it on Summit, but I don't see an LT1 model available. Do you have the correct part # by chance?

I would still appreciate picks if you have any to try and use the one I have. That can prevent me from waiting another month for it to get here from the states.

Cool thanks. I will have to check tomorrow. I may have mine routed uner all four pipes. It is a pain to get that thing out again since it is in the car.

getting it in the block = Use a fine grit sandpaper to sand down the end. It'll go in MUCH easier

Better put some gray RTV on it or it will leak.
