i just just had the emissions done last year, and they only put it on the dyno roller things, but my dad just did his 97 blazer and they only did a computer scan, i think its a obd2 thing only

alright i got tearing into it, and the entire pcv valve system seems to be covered in oil, under the TB plate has a coating of oil. also my antifreeze had some oil in it, is that just a sign that the intake gasket was blown out?

anybody know, could a leaky intake gasket cause oil in my antifreeze?

sounds like you had increased crankcase pressure. maybe pushed some oil into the cooling sys. i would make sure your pcv valve us functioning, and if not replace it. also buy one of these guys from autozone It stops oil from going into the tb.

well the pcv valve and TB was coated in oil, your link does not work but im guessing its the cirlce shaped breather you put on your pass. side valve cover

still i dont have a clue on how oil could of gotten into my antifreeze, its usally the other way around. could someone please enlighten me?

Oil in your antifreeze? Check your oil...if it looks milky dude......you blew a head gasket.

yea i must of been on crack but i thought i saw a small amount of oil on the termostat, i just drained the oil and it was the regular brown color. i did get my intake gasket in today and well see if it works. i did have to giggle it a little to get some of the bolts to line up, hope that didnt break the seal.
