oil

hi,
i just bought a 1993 z28 camaro with 88500 org miles. it has no oil leaks but needs an oil change. what would be a good oil to buy? i want to put the best.

GM does not recommend Mobil 1 for the F-Body LT1. Only for the Corvette LT1.

Let's move this to "LT1 Based Engine Tech" since this isn't really an "Appearance" topic.

If you look around the sites, where people actually do oil testing, bobistheoilguy is a good one, you'll find the German made, full synthetic 0W30, is the one that tests the best in the LT1.
