Here in Hamilton County all they check is for the cat. converter and whether your HCs and CO are in line. Nothing else matters.

So, I'd advise you to pick up a Carsound cat. They are inexpensive, have almost NO restriction (been dyno tested, ~1-3hp), and will significantly reduce the crappiness of your engine's pollution. It's worth it, and best of all, you're not breaking the law.

R-I-G-H-T that won't lead us off topic LOL But from what I understand passenger cars are a relatively small portions of emissions in this country but us peons don't have the political muscle to buy off all the other chunks that pay big $$$ to have the EPA look the other way so they go after the people who can b!tch but can't actually do somthing about getting screwed

here in coshocton county, there are no e-checks. i've heard rumors of some of our cops doing them but i don't know if they're true. i dont' personally know of anyone who has ran into problems with emissions.
