I have a 95, I know its got an obd2 connector, with an obd1 computer. My question is this, can I buy a regular obd2 cable to tune and datalog with or does it have to be a 'special' $80 cable made specifically for the 95?????? Ive looked at shoeboxes schematic, but I couldn't tell exactly the difference between the obd1 and 2 connectors.

Pretty sure that if the OBD-II cable would work, they wouldn't offer the other type of cable (that does work). You can also get one for less than $80. (example)

 

I figured they were different, but I'm a cheap *** and if I can I will go the cheap route 75% of the time. But not this time. Thanks.
