Question Not in the book so.......what do I do now?

Well, it's not in the book for some strange reason and it's the big huge two set book about the specific year I have.

It's a little thing at on the back of the block, behind where the intake manifold goes. I need to get it off to give me more space to take off the bolt from the coolent retuurn line.

How do I go about taking it off and putting it back on? And to how many foot-pounds? AND WHAT IS IT?!?!

Also, any other perticulars I should know about this little part?

Here's two pics:

Thats the oil pressure sender. It should just unscrew, when you go to put it back on, put some thread sealant on the first two or three threads, just tighten til SNUG. It's been known to break very easily if not careful.

Breaks easily when you're putting it back in?

Any suggestions on how many foot-pounds to torque it back with?

It doesnt specify any certain torque, just says "snug", on page 2-24 of the Chiltons manual.

I have always been able to work around it when removing the coolant tubes.
