Nos 5177 Kit on a stock 1995 A4 T/A???
Nos 5177 Kit on a stock 1995 A4 T/A???
How would this kit work on a basically stock 95 T/A.
The motor has about 89k, its an auto, its got what it says in the sig, and runs what it says in the sig.
Would it be okay to spray a 75shot every once in a while, and will this kit even work on a LT1?
I belive the kit is dry, so can you run a dry shot on an LT1 safely?
Thanks,
James

NOS 5177 is LS1 specific. The LT1 kit is 5176. You do not want to use the LS1 kit on an LT1. The 5177 simply sprays nitrous into the LS1 airbox, in front of the MAF sensor, and relies on the signal from the MAF sensor to tell the PCM to add the extra fuel. This will not work on an LT1. The LS1 has a much faster processer in the PCM, and stays in closed loop at WOT, allowing the MAF to work correctly.
The 5176 sprays nitrous after the MAF sensor, and uses a small pressure signal from the nitrous supply to force the fuel pressure regulator to increase fuel pressure signficantly. This way, the PCM adds extra fuel using the stock pulse widths.
If you want to spray 75-125HP on a stock LT1, it will work fine. I used the NOS 5176 kit for more than 5 years.
