ok, ill look that over is there a common fail point if there is not 5 v to the yellow?

ok have 5 v to siganl wire with engine of,f no change when it starts still throws po100 at startup

The voltage will typically drop to less than 5V when the engine starts.

Does your meter have a frequency scale? If so, hook the frequency meter up across the yellow and black/white wires, and look for ~2,800Hz at idle. The DC voltage is just there to serve as a carrier for the frequency, which is what the PCM looks at to determine the air flow.
