Here's one I did forever ago. No measurement, but you can just eyeball it. It's not rocket science. You also may choose to extend the top cut to get better access to the quick connects.

Here's an install I did on a friends car to those who think this is considered a "hack job."

looks good I appriciate the help,
I just got back from the parts shopping
couldnt find just a pump on the island so I had to spring for the whole assembly. For somthing made in china it sure was expensive... lmao

If I were you, I'd send it back and pick up the Racetronix pump and harness kit (www.racetronix.com). Far and away it's the best fuel pump kit made specifically for LT1s.

I think I ended up using some spare heater ducting steel I had in my house and 1/4" sheet metal screws.

Did u get the harness and everything? That looks like fun to install. Im guessing with the harness you need to drop the tank still.

Nope...no dropping of the tank needed. I have the harness and everything. I got my kit like like 7 or so years ago and it's been going strong since then.

The harness is real simple. Just hook it into the factory wiring and run it to the back of the alternator. Done!

Go to the "Fuel and Ignition" forum, and look at the "sticky" at the very top of the page.
