i have a 93 camaro z28 with a lingenfelter cai and a magnaflow catback and thats it. i just did an oil change with mobil 1 oil, got the ac delco filter, msd 8.8mm wires and the ac platinum plugs. i have had the car since january. it has 114000 miles on it. anyway, dont know if the car suppose to run like this but once it is on its last gear (automatic) i have to almost step on the gas almost all the way down to get any real acceleration or i should say the car doesnt "kick" anymore. it rips through the first two gears just fine and smooth but when it settles on that last gear and im crusing on it, my car dont pick up. dont know if thats normal. any help will be great

oh and yesterday after a short trip i turned my car off and heard a whizzing sound like if my fan was on after i had already turned the car off and i popped the hood and SMOKE WAS EVERYWHERE! after a while it started to clear up and i traced it to the passanger side of the engine from the bottom coming up. it smelled like burning plastic any ideas on that problem? all the spark wires where fine.
