? about Felpro intake manifold gaskets

I just pulled them out of the box and each one has two little plasitc tabs in them that lock into little holes on either side. Do I leave these in there or do I take them out? Seems like with them sticking up a little I'd loose the seal.

You leave them in. They are there to locate the gaskets in the proper position. They pop into little holes in the heads.

I didnt use them because they didnt line up with the ports on the heads at all. The rtv i used one the front and the back held the gaskets in place just fine.

:yesnod:

I have noticed felpro's quality going down hill recently. I port heads and intake manifolds for Quad cam 4.6's and have gotten quite a few "bad" gaskets.

I've been switching to victor-reinz.
