Check it with a mechanical gauge. Maybe your sensor is bad.

oil PRESSURE sensor is only like 25$ i would replace it while you have it out to check pressure with a mechanical gauge

check it with another gauge it sounds like you may have a bad gauge

Has the mechanical gauge you installed ever shown pressure? Is this a new engine build, that is just being started for the first time? When you cranked it over (but did not start it??) with nothing in the hole, there was oil squirting out of the pressure sensor tap, correct? How high was it squirting? What is the "little farle" that you think may be "blocking the oil"?

the motor is not a rebuild has 40,000 on it just did a new top end h/c and all other valve train parts. the gauge is new so i dunno maybe its falty. the farle iam talking about is when you in stall the line for the oil gague there us a little copper piece you slip on the like and stop it from backing out. when i had the fitting out of the pressure tap(on the back on the block by the intake) the oil would just like flow up did not have alot of pressuer. but when i did the h/c i added a new oil pan and pump a high volum pump and primed it and geased it so i dunno whats going on
