I did the same thing, I put a 95 LT1 with the 95 wireing harness into a 96 and it would not turn on at all. The problem is that the 96 and 95 harnesses are two different animals, your going to have to use the 96 harness with your 93 motor. What I did was use the 96 harness with my 95 PCM and after having it tuned it worked out fine.

 

I started looking for the dark blue fuel enable wire and it went to the black box (PN 16150920).

Shoebox, do you know where I can find one of those LT1 transplant bypass units.
