No Crank on my lt1 please help

No Crank on my lt1 please help

I have a 94 lt1 z28 the car was having some spark issues earlier this week i tightend all the wiring and the car ran great for a day, on monday when i went to start it up in the morning the car wouldnt crank and the security light is flashing , anyone that can help me diagnose the problem please post up,

i had the same problem when i put my engine in, check the grounds for the wiring it caused it to no crank.

The flashing security light indicates that the VAT system is engaged. It expects a key with a certain resistance or it won't allow the car to start. Anyway, as the key and lock cylindeer 'age' sometimes there are problems. If you have a spare key, try that. if the the key pellet were to lose contact while the car was running would this cause it to loose spark ?

Ok so has anyone ever done the bypass on both the fuel cutoff and spark cutoff module cause from what iread on shbox i would rather just bypass all this nonsense since no one is stupid enough to try and steal my car. need a guide to do this id appreciate the help fellas

do the resistor bypass on the orange wrapped wire listed on his website.

No. There is no spark cut-off. Additionally, nothing will happen while the engine is running, except that the security lamp will come on.

Anyone that has ever transplanted an LT1 into another body type has had to do this. Just follow the recommendations on the page.

i havent had time to work on the car till today and when i got to it, it looks like some one had already tried messing with the vats system in this car so im kind of at a dead end unless i can get some under dash pics of an un tammpered vats module looks like.
