Nitrous and 02 sensors

would the 02 sensors still be a good means of monitoring the engine under racing with the nitrous? Or would the nitrous combustions throw the 02s outta wack and be useless? I wanna watch the 02s as I make a nitrous pass to make sure im in the rich side of the A/F ratio.

.890 is ideal correct?

You'd probably have better luck with an EGT gauge.

go dyno your car with the nitrous and check the air fuel there

Well, let me simplify my answer: O2 sensors MAY not accurately reflect the AF ratio when running N2O but can still be used as a tuining tool.

if im not mistaken, the stock O2's are ignored at WOT due to them being a narrow band sensor. i have an A/F guage and at WOT it reads dead rich, even when we leaned out the car on purpose to see how accurate it was.

IMO it's a decent tool, but i wouldnt count on it.

We (or at least I) am talking about wideband sensors used for tuning.
