Kinda of sounds like Nick is backed up against a wall. The fact that your living in Canada probably helps.

Hey...... guess it time for me to get in line if Nick is passing out money. Seems like he owes me for a complete rebuild and head reporting.

$7k should come pretty close to us being even. The only thing remaining in my engine that was origional ARE is the pushrods.

(Maybe I should change those also!)

Glad you got something from the scumbag.

T-shirts make pretty good rags. Not sure what to do with the hats and nic nacs though.

Glad to hear your ordeal is being worked out.

Do a search. I won't say anything bad about Agostino cause I haven't used them, but after all the things I've heard, I don't intend to use them either.

I could write a book on ARE and it probably would sell pretty well on this list.

Instead of me writing a book....... I agree and do a search. You will get an earfull for sure.

I doubt you will see ARE listed in any of those Airline mags whom rate steakhouses on any top ten speed shop lists.

Big f'ing deal!

He could NEVER come close to undoing all the **** he & crew shipped out to MANY others.

Not suprised one bit that you are from Canada. He always had a penchant for screwing people from across the border.

I'm happy that you are getting some restitution Clary, but that guy can burn in hell for all I care.

so if they have been giving people problems for about 4 years now (from my search), how did they get such a good reputation with magazines and the like? I have heard they are the best. How did this get out if they have been selling crap fr more than 4 years?

I will know to stay away from them, and do my own work!

I have only heard amazing things about ARE around here from all the LT1/LS1 guys... however not only do I live in Canada.. I live a 5 minute drive away from them!

I have also heard many, many horror stories on this board. So I really can't say where I stand on the subject...
