Newb question
Newb question
So i have a cool air intake, aftermarket elbow, and throttle body air foil. Also cleaned out heads. I have a cutout before muffler. Question is should i get magnaflow high flow cats? (dual) car is 97. Or pacesetter mid tube headers? How would sound and power differ between the two choices?
Re: Newb question
From everything I have read, the mids for dual cat cars are poor designs. It seems most go with an earlier single cat setup if you really want mids. You could just get long tubes with an ORY and ditch the dual cats. Good luck and I am sure someone way more knowledgeable than I will chime in shortly
Re: Newb question
Before you decide call the guys at exotic muscle. They might be able to fabricate a mid pipe with high flow cats to match a set of long tubes. Those guys kick ***
Re: Newb question
right on. heard of the place. guess you used to live in houston lol? but yea, 5.5 hrs labor seems steep, seeing as how im told you can lift the motor to have room, then its a 1-2 hour job.
Re: Newb question
According to Mitchell labor guide its 2.4 for the left and 3.8 for the right. Total 6.2 hours for complete install. This is quoted with traction control and electrical interference. Without is 6.0 hours. What was the total amount they were quoting for install?
