New water pump now car won't start

OK so I will apologize now for the long post. I had a leak from my water pump so I got a new one and changed it. While I had the pump off I went ahead and pulled the opti so it could air dry. I started to open it but did not. Since I had never replaced the hoses I went ahead and got the goodyear high miler set and changed them too. I put everything back together and the car would not start. I figured that I had missed the index putting the opti back on so I broke it all back down to see. This time, before putting it all back together I reset the opti (which I think was right anyway) and it hit as soon as I touched the key. So thinking that was it I put it all back together and now it will not start again. When I say won't start I mean it won't turn over. The starter just keeps trying. When I started it earlier the only things missing were the water pump (plus all associated hoses), and the cold air intake and the belt. I am at a loss. PLEASE HELP ME. Thanks.

Double check the wire to the opti is plugged in good at both ends.

Try to unplug the / take off the cold air intake and see if it will start.

Id double check all your wires. When we did my waterpump, we mixed a couple wires and it didnt start the first time, so we had to switch a couple wires we had mixed.

Update: The car was flooded from me having the left side on a jackstand and not the right. Thanks for your responses.
