fuel injection flush worth it??

If you are having injector probelms, it would be worth the pro flush.
For maintenance, I would just get the store bought stuff, I have had good luck with the Chevron, STP and BG brands, BG being the best.

I work at a chevy dealership and we use the BG products with the air/fuel induction service. Its not hard to do, just hooking it up to the schrader valve, unplug the fuel pump relay and run the system till its done. Our price is around $125 and it does work pretty well. But if you are on a budget the $10 store additive isnt bad either. If you are in the CA area i could hook a f-body owner up!

I have had great success with Sea Foam for maintenance. It won't burn up injectors and O'reilly's and Advanced carry it.
That $150 service is most likely the one that Jiffy Lube and Valvoline do for $49.99 and they off a 100% money back gurantee...even if you want your money back due to the smell that lingers for about 10-15min.
Look in to it, because the "advanced" fuel cleaning services are little more than a bottle in the gas tank, and then another bottle of a seperate cleaner, put in to a bottle, and then connected to a vacuum line. The vacuum line cleaner then (reportedly...never used it) picks up all the stuff in the combustion chamber, 02 sensors, and intake tract.
We sell the same stuff where I work at Speed Lube.

FWIW, I had 8 injectors that were literally clogged solid with varnich. They wouldnt spray, drip, seep, nothing. Car sat from 96' when it was totaled to 03' when I bought it and restored it. My Dad's old boss got him some gallon container of some professional carb/injector cleaner. I took the O-Rings off, threw em in, and a few hours later, they all sprayed perfect. Havent had a problem since. The stuff was WHICKED though. It ate through my rubber gloves before I could even pull the first injector out. Being the genious I was, I figured since it didnt "burn" my skin it didnt matter anyways and just yanked them out with dissintegrating gloves on my hand, and the next 3 days skin was peeling off like when you get sunburn ... Definatly worked great though so I can personally say, injector cleaner DOES work if its concentrated.
Since then ive been running Lucas alot, I like the stuff.
