New spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new rotor button and car feels really flat!!
I have a 96 camaro, 6 speed that I have been doing alot of work on for a few years now.. Well two weeks ago I installed a spec stage 3 clutch and it felt great.. A week later the rotor button had to be replaced,While it was on the lift waiting for a tool to come in to install the rotor button, I told him to go ahead and to install spark plug wires and spark plugs..I am planning on running nitrous on this camaro again.. Basically a wet kit nitrous express 100 shot, purge system and window unit..So installed a colder plug, ngk-tr6..This was the plugs that more were using at alot of sites running nitrous..Last week the car felt great running with the new clutch..Literally barking fourth at almost 90 with 18X10.5's on the back..After new installs the car feels like a v6!!!Very flat through the gears...Did the plugs do this or what??Where should I go to try to find my problem??Again, car runs fine just not itself..By no means..A usual punch from a 20 roll would light the tires, fishtail through second ,and a decent amount of third with a chirp in fourth..Now it's a bog and just shift.. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.. Thanks

The colder plugs will cause a "slight" power loss, but nothing like that. I'd check to make sure all the plug wires are secure (ie. not grounded on the manifold, pushed all the way onto the opti and plug). Check to make sure that none of them are crossed. If the right ones are crossed, the car will start and idle fine, but won't run like it should. Make sure all the opti stuff is hooked up correctly. This shouldn't be too hard to diagnose since you only replaced 3 things. I'd work backward and check everything. Check your fuel pressure while your at it, just to make sure. Keep us informed after you check these things. Also, the opti could be installed wrong (not sitting all the way down because of missing the dowel pin). I've done it myself. That will cause your timing to be off and you will lose lots of power.
