new lt1 times

basic car layout...cam(cc306) 3200 stall 3.73 and a tune

went to the track tonite after getting my high stall problem fixed...went to run had some problems o nthe first run with the d/r i guess getting dry...then next run i hooked up its 105+ out there...i run a
1.66 12.29 at 108.9
45 minutes later
1.67 12.32 at 108.7
waited 2 hours till it cooled to 95 degrees....it went
1.66 12.19 at 109.9
woohoo...cam only daily driven lt1 in the 12.1 in that heat...this winter i see some high 11 in mind...i drug a cammed sprayed ls1 he says 386 396 on motor and 496 512 on 100 shot...he though he could get me i treed him 60' him he went 12.04 at 118 but couldent do it in time......and he went 1.8 60' wasnt too bad
what yall guys think? 100 shot will prolly be in it next weekend any prediciments/compliments...

Great times Someone must have built you a great transmission.

A 100 shot should put you close to the 11 teens.

lol thanks frank..and yes they did...hasnt missed a beat since i got it...and i expect it to last quite some time....
and yea im going to do a 100 for a lil while...then i want to break it up into 2 stages to save me rear... 1.6 60' plus 100 shot??

now i wish i would of bought the cc 306 , but the tech guy at comp cams did not reccomend me to use it on stock heads.

Haha, yeah it is way too big for the stock heads, but it still makes power, i trapped 114 with the cc306 and stock heads

For some reason, COMPs tech line always seems to suggest smaller cams than what are actually the better for performance.

Thats impressive for your mods. Easy 11's with N20.

i wonder whats the difference on horsepower between the 503 and 306, because i am running the 503 which is a pretty good cam.

well ill tell you my car dynoed 295hp and 312tq......i still laugh at that to this day...i think im in the 345hp..340tq range...

and it might be tooo big for stock heads...(not in my opinion) i daily drive my car 200+ miles a week and in stock and go i get about 13mpg...and freeway i get 25+, with 3.73, at 70mph....thanks to frank...

well i have a 109k on my engine, after i fresh up the engine i am going with the 306cc,i prolly have to many miles on it to install new cam.
