Numbers seem doable especially considering that it's an M6. My 94 A4 dynoed at 278 with edelbrock headers, flowmaster catback, home made CAI, 2800 stall (which I'm told reduces power somewhat on a dyno), and an airfoil.

a few things urk me here. 10hp at the crank is 7-8 at the wheels, not 5, no big deal there. as for his number, they are RIGHT on. my bone stock 96 Z M6 made 260rwhp@5000 and 310rwt@2200. i added a CAI, 52mm TB, FLP's, Mac catback, and 2 peice underdrive pulleys and netted 295rwhp@5500 and 320rwt@4200. FWIW, stock by 5500 i was way down in the 230rwhp range and by 6k i was at an anemic 210rwhp or so. at 6k with those mods i was at 285rwhp. torque also was vastly improved, was 300+ at the wheels from off idle to 5100. dyno numbers are more than peaks, you have to look at the whole picture. in reality on MY CAR i theoretically picked up a peak of 75rwhp@6000 rpms over stock, even though my PEAK numbers were only 35rwhp higher. maybe posting a dyno chart will help people see how you went from being stock to modding. the curves look very different. ill try and dig up my stock dyno sheet and my modded one and post em, though im not sure if ill be able to find em. long story short hes right on.

Nice #'s 96TA, air in and air out, that's what makes HP.

Hey BUBBA, when are we gonna race to see which old fart has the quickest SS in the valley.

Not really unbeleiveable BUBBA

I made 267/312 bone stock thru 4.10 gears (Trapped 106.5). Add longtubes, and a cutout and thats realll close. Nother guy made 317 hpwith Hookers, Electrci H20 pump cold air and cutout thru a Ford 9 inch

Don't forget the 96-97's have better flowing heads, that's probably the main reason why some people found it a little hard to believe him

Kinda bugged me that 96-97's with the same setup as me are trapping 109-111 when I am only trapping 106-107, did a little research and found out that most 93-94's are alot closer to me.

Great numbers!!!

I hope my recent mods will get me to that 300rwhp mark. I pulled a 266rwhp before adding the 52TB, Hooker LT's, true duels, no cats, and 3.73 gears ( i know I will lose some hp with the gears) What are your thoughts everyone? Care to put in a guess? The car is the one in the sig and it is an A4 with 2800 stall. the 266 is with the stall

I have NEVER heard of a Bolt-on LT1 trapping 109 much less one without headers... either there was a 30mpg tailwind, track is bogus, or they did some SERIOUS weight reduction...

ive heard that 410's and DR's are good for a solid 1/2 second or more reduction in ET's on a 6 speed. i agree, sounds a lil optimistic, but isnt outside the realm of possibility.

I'm talking about trap speed, Gears and DR's will definately take the ET way down, but gears don't increase trap and usually trap speeds drop a good 1mph with DR's as did mine.

you might be suprised how many lt1's with bolt-ons can trap 109+. there are quite a few.

Gears do seem to pick up mph, at least for me. Stock best mph is 105,with 4.10s best mph is 106.5. Add a cutout, and good cold air in the mix, 2.5 mph is not unreasonable. Ask Darrick Gula
