Hey guys, I just bought a 94 z28. for a pretty good price. However I'm kind a getting what I paid for.

Anyway the current problem i'm working is the drivers side lock. once it locks it won't unlock with the key or the button. the slide lock will open it but you have to play with it to get it to work.

passenger side works great. Before I dig in and find out I was just curious if this is a common problem.

Take the switch assembly out and check the connection to the switch and lock.

 

Kk, thanks. That what I was going to do. I just wondered if maybe this was a common problem. So far every other problem I've run across was a popular problem for 94 camaro's. eg. failing drivers side window motors

 

Not really a common problem, but the passenger side can burn out just as easily, but it's not used as much.
