well guys today i picked up a black 97 ws6! Car has a 11:1 383 built by Carolina Auto masters about 3k ago. pretty much my dream car. I love it so far, but it may or may not have a stumbling issue? I havent even gotten it out of first gear yet (moved it onto ferry, off of ferry, onto trailer, and into driveway so far) and it has a pretty serious stumble/miss when i try to get going in first gear. Once the clutch is fully engaged, it bucks and stumbles like nothing i've ever driven before. Once you get above 1.5K or so though, it clears up and appears to drive fine (I will thoughly go through the car next weekend when im back home with it). Ive never driven a cammed car before, and this once has heads similar to LE2s and an XE 230/236 510/520 LSA cam. Is this just cam surge i am getting used to or what? I thought this was a relatively small cam with almost no surge? I almost feel like the car is undriveable becuase it is so hard to get the car moving from a stop without stalling it or reving to 3k and slowly letting out the clutch (aka burning out the brand new zoom stage 5 clutch that was just put in there).

Also, the car is really hard to start hot and cold. I usually have to turn it over 10+ times, let off the key, and then turn it over 4-5 times while pumping the gas before it will start. Symptom of bad gas maybe? it has been stored for a while. Full mods are in sig, sorry for the long post! any help is appreciated. Thanks Guys!
