new bolt on Personal Best

12.60 @109mph

1.86 60'

brought the RPMs up on my last run rather then flashing it and it responded well but the trans slipped on the 2-3 shift. looks like its time for a rebuild. if the trans didnt slip im sure i wouldve went .5x

What kind of converter do you have? Go with CPT on the transmission rebuild. You wont regret it.

Very good times, especially on a stock converter. You still have some more gains to be had by changing that out.

thank you and oh i know im doing things one step at a time and seeing where my weak points are now. for example im having a little bit of wheel hop now so i need to change the shocks, if i were to throw a converter in there it would just be worse so im gonna fix things as i find them.

Nice time, that gives me a little hope for my 94 firebird with a few more mods.

My goal is to beat a local LS1 running 7.81 fastest time in the 1/8th. I ran 8.75 with my camaro with 3.23 gears, A4, k&n cai and jet stage 2 pcm chip.

Good times and especially your MPH. Which do you think was more beneficial to that, those roller rockers or your true duals setup?

i actually picked up .3 when i put on long tubes/trueduals and did a little weight reduction, RRs didnt do too much. just remember though if you do true duals you cant run a chassis mount torque arm unless you get the relocation kit (not cheap) and a stock length torque arm. you also save some weight with the duals over a traditional catback.
