New best for 396 LT1 - 11.7 @ 118.8
man, there is a BIG difference in the weight of these cars.
3800-3150 lbs with driver.
I know my 205 lb fat *** is not helping any but WOW.
Some people remove very little and have 3150-3400 lbs cars.
Some have a more extensive list of weight removal and still end up few hundred lbs heavier.
I am sure that all track scales are not 100 calibrated to each other but they would have to be with in 100 lbs you would think.

Well Lloyd the T/A's are heavier and the options make a big difference. Some cars have cloth interior, which is lighter, manual seats etc... T-top cars are heavier too so there are quite a few things that make cars heavier than others. My T/A was 3,640lbs with me in it, with skinnies up front, no spare or jack and thats it fror weight reduction. Now about 3yrs later with a bunch of weight redcution the car weighed 3,400lbs with me in it before the 80lb rollbar. But I just bought lifghtweight carpet, BMR upper and lower A-arms to offset some ofn the weight. Thats my .02. Later Clint
You're right, I was looking at the net and found out that a Coupe Z28 weighs 3429lbs I guess that's with leather int. and the other says 3335lbs, don't know but I'm doing more weight reduction.
