Well, I can't comment on everyone elses work, but I can tell you that I've got quite a few 4L60E's out there in the high 10/low 11 second range. One of them is a member on here also (RACINLT1). I built his 2 1/2 years ago.. ..Well over 200 passes on it, and he runs 11.0 @ 124 MPH.

Frank definately knows his stuff. I don't have one of his trannys, but I have relied on him for a TON of information and he's always helped me out. I would talk to him about rebuilding your tranny for sure.

I'm in the NE section of Maryland. $900-$1000 for a race 4L60E or 700R4 + hard parts. Hard parts are anything that needs to be replaced in the transmission that isn't part of a normal rebuild...IE... pump, planetary, drum, input shaft, etc. You'll have to supply your own converter, too.

I don't know about the LT1Dave guy, but just don't make the mistake of bringing your car to Chesapeake Transmission- located near Baltimore, MD.
