Yeah it would have been, I am getting my heads ported and polished and decked also. Will that make a difference on what I need

nope... not at all... decking will actually raise ur compression a bit, so thats good, and if its really decked alot, u might have to run shorter pushrods, but I dont see any reason as to why it would be decked much... they usually deck them to clean up the surface and smooth it again

Hello,

I work at WISECO Piston in the Custom Auto Division as a machinist.
Seal just to let you know Wiseco and JE are both owned by the same corporation but we are operated differently (cant get into it, Probably get fired). Wiseco pistons are the best bang for the buck when it comes to what your getting in the package. You get pistons, plasma moly rings, precision ground wrist pins and locks. If you ever plan to use a power adder, make sure to get 2618 aluminum pistons, they are alot stronger and have a less chance of "sweeling" under harsh loads. If you are going to drive it on the street and keep it n/a go with a set of pro-trus. They are great piston kits and have seen 150,000 miles in 400 hp motors with no probs.
