Need LT1 Advice!!

Well as some of you know....I've been jonesing for another Trans Am/Formula.
Ive got my eye on one locally
Its a red '97 WS6 with 11K on it ......he's asking 10K. Sound reasonable? Its a 6 SPEED! (EDIT), and is dang near flawless. Just wanted to run it by you guys and see if that sounds like a good deal? I'm probably gonna go back and get it on monday....any opinions??

Personally I could never go from a M6 to an A4... But hey, thats just me. Oh and you should take your headers and stuff off of the old one and do a swap! Are you keeping or selling the 94?

Run a Carfax, and look at the car carefully, top and bottom.. Check the trunk area on each side of the quater panels to see if there was any damage... Underneath, look for newly replaced parts or welds..... Get a buddy to look it over too. They might see something you missed... If you are happy with the deal, then its yours..

Naw, the '94 has been gone for months now And I'm currently driving the '01 Blazer, but its just not cutting it. I figure I can trade in the blazer (with 60K) and pick up the low mileage WS6, and keep the same payment. I dont mind the having a payment part, but dangit it needs to be something that I enjoy. Also not worried about the auto, the 6 speed was fun, but sometimes i wished i had a nice auto.... BigEvil has an auto in his formula, and I like it just fine. Maybe put a converter and shift kit in it later....? Besides if I get an auto, all the ricers will think its slow

Re: Need LT1 Advice!!

Do you have an "LT1 Engine Tech" question?

They seem to go from $11-17k around here, so if that one checks out OK... it's a good buy.
