There is a braided ground strap from the coil to the body on the driver side.
I disconnected my lines at the ABS unit and the tranny lines from the radiator.

The torque arm wasn't mentioned I think. It connects with the tranny through a mount.

Dropping is pretty easy, especially with a lift. I did the whole swap all by myself and it wasn't bad at all. The only parts I hated is beleive it or not, lifting the car on those blocks/jackstands and swapping the engines. That was hard doing alone, but everything else wasn't bad.

OK guys I worked on it tonight have a few questions.....I got the harness from the top of the motor I noticed that it goes down behin the engine somewhere on both sides...what are these connection??? Do the need to be disconnected??? I noticed in your pic ION that there was not a harness wire anywhere so I am thinking they need to be disconnected....And the tranny lines on top of the tranny do not need to be disconnected??? Just in the front??? And the steering are ...Disconnect it at the top or bottom???

 

I found out where the two harness wires go...gonna pull them ....Steering arm I am gonn disconnect at the top....tranny line I'm gonna disconnect at the front....
