just got new heads for my lt1 and want to put them on. I have never done this before. Is this some thing I can do in a weekend or should i leave this to a shop . Thank you for the input

 

most people can handle this job. just get a good manual and start workin on it. a first time head swap in an lt1 f-bod will probably take a weekend. just try to have all the parts needed before you start. trips to the parts store take up alot of time.

 

Don't forget to drain the coolant out of the block.
