Need help removing Hooker Shorties

I've got all the bolts off on the pass. side, and that thing will not come out of the top or bottom. Anyone have any suggestions for me? I've removed the alternator, valve cover, and !AC. Thanks for the help

Try jacking the engine up just a little bit on the passenger side. Just get a stick and get a jack and just jack it up, those things should come right out.

I installed Hooker shorties without jacking up the motor. Do it like stinger said.

Re: Need help removing Hooker Shorties

The dipstick is a good idea, but pulling it from the top with shorties is probably the best bet. You don't have to manuver them much to get them out, jacking up the motor would be easier than putting the dipstick back in and taking it off. Jacking up the motor gave me TREMENDOUS room
