Hi Guys!
I have a 1997 Z28 with 80K miles on it.
Question: What did you guys do when you changed you O2 sensor on the Passenger side? How did you get in there to it?
Question: Can changing the passenger side O2 sensor be done without removing the Y-pipe?
Question: Are these sensors hard to get out? Do they usually seize up since they are in the Exhaust Manifold.
Thanks Lee!

Kind of the same question here. I found one o2 sensor directly in front of my oil filter. I dont know if its my upper or lower one though. Dealer told me the upper was bad. Anyone know which one i found? and also does the Y pipe need to come off?

I cannot give specific reference to a 97, but on my 94, I just went to the parts store and got an O2 sensor socket tool. Looks like a big spark plug socket with a slot cut out on the side so that the wires can be fed through. I replaced both of my O2 sensors with no problem...the driver's side was easy as a wrench could be used, but you will HAVE to use an O2 socket for the passenger side...

I even cut the ring side of my wrench (to slip the wires through), and I still couldn't get enough leverage on the passenger side sensor....and it certainly wasn't from lack of trying (or blood)
