Need help passing CA SMOG
Running a 195*F t'stat on a reverse flow LT1 might not be a good idea. The stock 'stat is 180*F. Increasing the combustion chamber temps increases NOx formation.
The key is still the fact that it failed on all three.

I had no idea that would have an affect on emissions
You said its a high flow cat on that car?? I'm almost positive that no high flow cats will pass smog in Ca (for the most part). Cut it out, bolt up an OEM cat, retry the smog test, and come back with results...
My bad, I thought mine came with a 195 (I have a 180 in it now).
The lower temp (160*F) t'stat will cause a very slight increase in CO and HC, and a small decrease in NOx. Your problem is well beyond "slight".
A good high-flow cat like a random tech usually reduces emissions compared to stock, especially a new high-flow compared to an old OEM.
"Thanks to all who helped. My friend replaced the high flow cat with a "real" cat, and he passed the smog on the first try. Thanks again to all!"
PWNED BY ME, lol i win...
