Need help! I have a couple of things goin wrong with my z
Well first is when my car is cold or just get started sometimes it will stutter when u accelerate what could that be?? Second is the temp guage it never used to even get up to 200deg usually fan would kick on around 180 and it would never go above that but tonight it was getting up to around 230 or so then would go down to 200 then back up and so and and so on what is that and if i put the 160deg theromstat in would that help that problem out?? Well any advice is appreciated thanks
The stuttering could be from a rich mixture because the o2 sensors are cold... How old are they and havw you checked for codes??
How long has it been since the radiator fluid was changed/flushed out??? As far as the 160 degree thermostat, it helps keep the engine cool.. I put one in, because I live in Texas...

If so, Am thinking maybe your car had Hypertech programming for the fans to come on earlier And the tech returned it back to stock settings. B/C The stock settings for fans to come on are about 220 and off about 200.
