On the fuse panel at the end of the dash, there is a small square hole, labeled "IGN". Inside that square hole is a 1/4" spade lug. This is a switched power souce, and it is protected by a nearby fuse. Go to Radio Shack, get a crimp on 1/4" female connector, and put it on the wire, push the wire over the spade lug, and you are connected.

Re: need help finding switched power source in interior

I wanted to mount a switch in my ash try so I cut the wires that go to the ash try light, ditched the light, and used that power to power my switch. I have also heard that there are some wires that run along the bottom of the center console on the passenger side that are not hooked to anything and provide a good power source. I remember seeing pictures of this somewhere but I have no clue where.
