Re: need help finding out what is going on
Why make another thread? Did you even try some of the suggestions?
Also did your wiring harness match up correctly? I might suggest you looking at the detailed specs of the pcm difference of the 93 and 94 fbody.

Re: need help finding out what is going on
i tried everything that was suggested and it still doing the same thing i have the firing order correct with the plug wires it even did it before i changed them also but one thing i did do while the motor was out and i was changing the valve covers from one motor to the other is i did tighten all of the push rods without the knowledge on how to do it could that be a possibility on why this car is acting like the timing is out of whack i have no knowledge on how to do valve adjustments on here i just saw there were some pushrods loose so i tightened them all till there was no play in any of them and i think that might be where i screwed up

Did you place each cylinder at TDC before adjusting the rockers for that cylinder - see Shoebox's procedure?

Consequences of improper adjustment:
Too tight - the valves will not completely close and you will lose compression. The engine will run rough, if it will run at all.

Re: need help finding out what is going on
I do believe this is the exact problem i am having with the car is struggles to start but one it does it has a hissing noise that sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere but i sprayed every hose on the car with brake cleaner and it noise never went away so could that vacuum leak sound be coming from the intake valves not closing all the way??????? And could that be the reason it runs like it does

Re: need help finding out what is going on
The hiss isn't a vacuum leak. Its probably the compression escaping from the cylinder through an intake valve that isn't fully closed.
