im rebuilding my engine and im lost when it comes to gaskets..i want to use standard felpro gaskets...nothing fancy but when i look up the numbers im lost as to what i need...can someone help me out and give me the felpro part numbers?
i need as follows

timing cover gaskets and the seals on the front of it
oil pan gaskets
throttlebody gasket 58mm
valve cover gaskets

Re: need help with felpro gasket numbers
I don't have the catalog in front of me. But anyplace that sells Fel-Pro can look it up or you can look on the web www.federal-mogul.com
The following is, however, from memory.
head gaskets 1074
intake gaskets (ported heads) 95580
header gaskets 95585
waterpump gaskets
timing cover gaskets and the seals on the front of it
oil pan gaskets
throttlebody gasket 58mm
valve cover gaskets 50293
main seals 40626
thermostat housing seal or gasket
That's all I remember, but like I said, rely on the place you are buying or use the Web. They may have a complete set for the LT1, I am not sure.

Felpro TCS 45956
Its a gasket set that contains:
2-407 O ring (water pump shaft)
1-14842 Timing Cover Seal
2-35072 Water Pump to Block
1-95579 Timing cover
1-95644 Distribuitor Drive shaft seal (big seal for opty opening)
1-95589 Water Pump Bearing Seal (The first seal from top to bottom)
In short you get the Three seals on the Timing cover itself Water pump drive, Opty and Crankshaft seals (for the three cover openings)
Plus Two little o-rings for the water pump drive shaft and the Timing cover gasket itself made out of gasket material.
The Oil Pan gasket I got from car quest and it has two molded rubber gaskets and two cork oil pan gaskets on the box it has only one number
os32471tc. I am removing my oil pan now so I dont know if its a perfect fit.
I hope that helps
