Mysterious Torque converter.

I heard there is a Torque converter that you can adjust electronically. Like when regular everyday driving have a low stall and when u race a high one.

I have never heard of one for our cars, but I know what you are talking about. My buddies supra has from the factory a converter that seems to have a small amount of electronic control to it. When you hit a button for performance it allows you to brake torque the motor a little more.

Even if you could get one for our cars I don't think it would be worth the money. I'm sure the amount of adjustment would not be very high, plus the cost of the unit is probably ridiculous.

Gm (hydramatic) did this back in the 70's with a "variable pitch" TH400. Toyota definately isn't the inovator.
