2) nobody lied i am half owner of krs machining
3) i am running 2.02/ 1.60 ferrra pro flows (not 2.00/ 1.56 and never said those were stock)
4) ai and le can suck my ***** we are better at what we do when is the last time ai or le built a 2,500 hp sbc 331ci to run mid 3's in the 1/8 mile
5) i understand that you street guys have your favorite place and in your mind nobody will ever do better thats fine but we are just starting to build street motors we have been doing real motors alot longer than these guys been playing on the street. just ask john force or tony shumaker and tony c. who they call when they need some info when they have been racking there brains about a stumble and they need a tenth to qualify

other than that go ahead and think your right

Lloyd and Phil are both pretty good guys, I don't think either of them would bash you or what you do. If your heads flow 230, and you guys are better than them, I think that's great - but there's no need to tear down 2 guys who aren't even in the thread. If you're going to fire off at anyone, it should be those you disagree with... who are in this thread.

Just my 2.

Not my normal deal to post on something like this but a few thoughts.....

1st) What kind of bench is this? Some benches like a Flow Data can put out extremely high exhaust numbers. Or how you set the head up on the bench, where the exhaust doesn't run into a wall will help some too.

2nd) If you get 230cfm out of a LT1 head good for you. It's not that big of a deal since the motor hardly cares about the peak exhaust flow since the pressure in the cylinder is all ready low at that point anyways. 23deg heads are hard to get high exhaust numbers out of them that at the same time also make power. I'm not going to say it can't be done, in fact I would expect more from the intake port if you can get 230cfm out of the exhaust, 280cfm should be doable on the intake side then.

3rd) Most head porters spend very little time on exhaust port development because it doesn't make a huge difference on HP. I've seen heads with the same intake port and different exhaust ports, and the exhaust port that flowed worse made more power by a considerable amount. Exhaust flow numbers don't really mean much in all reality.

4th) The part of all of these posts that's most dissapointing is the lack of professionalism. Not the fact that the numbers are possible.

ai and le can suck my ***** we are better at what we do
Sounds like the middle school playground to me

i am half owner of krs machining
That was probably not the best business choice you have ever made in your life. My advice is not to get into a pissing contest with one guy when anyone and everyone who reads it gets to see the discussion and see comments like this. Reminds me of some of the imfamous Joe Price posts over on LS1tech.com

Good Luck,

Bret

Well even if KRS could do a better job, IF, they just lost my buisness for life. I owuldnt risk my heads in that guys hands, he might get mad and throw them at the mailman or some ****. Or get drunk and puke on em or something. Id rather get slightly lower flow #s and give buisness to a respectable ADULT vendor. Thats is all.....

You guys are missing the funniest thing about what that guy said! John Force calls him whenever he needs a tenth!!! Personally, i would have to doubt that Force does business with some guy that gets on a message board and disrespects two well known, respectable porters.

You didnt know john force has him on speed dial?? Just like he said when that 8000 HP engine has a miss, they dont go to their guys that make probably 100-150,000 a year to fix it, they call krs and talk to this guy

You know, amean94ta mad a bad/immature choice by posting what he did, but those of you who popped in after SStrokerAce said his piece are no better. You're just taking an opportunity to bash someone, which completely defeats the purpose of a forum like this. Way to go.

im just curious about how long krs has been around becuse i know loyd has been porting head since he was 14 years old.

you just lost my business by those comments. but hey if john force has you on speed dial, you dont need my business.

since you own half of krs, if you want to shut us up, why dont you send a set of your heads to loyd and have them flowed. you pay shipping ill pay for the flow bench.

my advice would be to delete all your post on this thread becuse if people use the search and find this thread they will most likely not spend money with krs.

he did apologize for the sucking ballz comment. Its up to LE and AI to accept it if they believe its sincere.

Rest of the thread is just a "yes they are, no they arent, yes they are" deal. There's only one way to settle this, and thats to have those heads flowed elsewhere.

If they dont flow 230ex, he should take back every single thing he said, and if they do flow, he gets the last laugh, and maybe a few interested customers. That fair?

Until they are independently flowed, talking will just be a waste of time.

Fastbird93,
I can appreciate your comments, but please believe me when I say that amean94ta has nothing to offer, and HE IS a waste of bandwidth. We exchanged a couple of e-mails a few months ago about his set-up, and I came away with two thoughts, either I'm conversing (if thats the correct term) with a 14 year old, or he is a wanna be that thinks he knows how to be quick IF he had the money.
The kicker this time is the fact that John Force needs his help, and that his shop, on demand can supply one tenth of a second.
