My 383 build

Ive been building a nice 383 for the last few month's so far my shortblock is completely done and my heads are ordered i was wondering what some of you would think it might dyno.

Heres the run down...

splayed cap's
Lunati crank
Scat 6in forged rods
Icon forged #718 flat top piston's
1.6 rr ls7 lifters
TEA cnced trickflows 220cc 2.08/1.6 valves
Custom grind
Ported intake 58mm TB
Electric water pump
1-3/4 longtubes with cutout and magnaflow catback.
3000 stall
Racetronix fuel pump
42lb injectors
dyno tune
Compression will be right around 11.5.1

Im hoping to hit 450whp what do you guys think with this setup what could i dyno to the wheel's?

Why guess? Anyway, I doubt 450rwhp with that combo. But the only way to tell is to test it.

Good luck.

Who did the head work? I only install our custom grind billet cams, I am not impressed with the 306.
With the proper head work, tuning, and all other supporting mods 450+ H.P. is easily obtainable.

Crap cam, crap compression. You'll probably get maybe 420whp. You could see alot more with a custom grind cam.

Why on earth do you need such large valves?

I would recommend getting a hold of a reputable camshaft supplier and have them grind something that matches your set-up with your ultimate goals in mind. I have used Lloyd Elliot before and his service and product was top notch. But as long as you are getting a custom grind and getting the best cam for your setup you should be fine. Just make sure your have all your specs when you call them, especially valve train.......

I don't think the cc306 will get you those numbers. Go custom grind.

Not knowing the flow numbers of your heads and matching a cam based on flow and your RPM operating range you require.

Sorry it is just what my builder recomended? It already paid for it though. thought it was alittle big myself i thought we were going to go with 2.05 but like i said its already done.

The camshaft will be a custom grind probably alittle bigger than a cc306 i would like to shift the car around 6500 rpms.
