My 355 LT1

Heres a picture of my freshly rebuilt LT1. Hoping to put it all back together and in the car by the end of the week...


Heres a pic of my car with the old rims.. Hopfully some 18 Z06er's will be on by summer..

eagle crank n rods, speed pro -5cc pistons, corvette alum. heads. stock valvetrain. Its basically a rebuild quick as its my DD. Melted 2 pistons and spun number 8 rod bearing. I also got a 4.5 powerdyne but not sure if ill put it on or not..

Didn't do any porting to the heads? Could have picked up some cheaper stuff and got a little more out of the motor while it was apart. Sure does look pretty. LOL

i had the heads at my buddys house that was gunna do some porting and gasket matching. the heads were there for 2 weeks and he never touched them. Im 17 and its my DD so i just told him to put it back together. Hopefully in spring ill do a hotcam or 503..

That sucks... too bad you didnt get them a little worked on. Good luck with it in the future. At least you know the car will be ready for the cam.

I would still seriously consider swapping the cam now if that is a definite future plan. It will be that much easier with the motor out of the car. Otherwise, it looks like it is coming together nicely.

i honestly wish i could afford it. I dont have the money to to a cam and then get it tuned. Im a junior in highschool, working part time and its my daily ride...
