muffler change?
muffler change?
i have a flowmaster muffler on my car and i think it just lost a baffle rattling real bad i didnt like it very much anywway but heres the question which muffler or catback? will i feel any difference between muffler or catbacks? oh by the way its a 94 z28 with every bolt on possible
If you're happy about the existing pipes that are on the car that go to the muffler and out of it just reuse those and have them trimmed or added to match a new muffler if necessary. A catback is just what it says, a cat-back ...meaning it's all the pipes from the cat back to the muffler and out of the muffler. Just buying a new muffler would save you at least $100, depending on which you go with. Lately I've heard of guys changing to hooker catbacks over flowmaster, just go buy a hooker aerochamber muffler ($58 thru jeg's) and have it welded up, it's the same one that's in the hooker catback and will sound almost the same too. Good luck.
