ok i've got a 94 Z28 and it has tha stock exhaust system on it the only thing that isnt stock is the chrome tailpipes. well i dont have that much cash but i want to make my car sound better so i was thinking maybe i could put a different muffler on it and leave the stock exhaust pipes. so wat would be the best muffler to get?? thanks

Re: muffler advice

you have a lot of options. Hooker, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, etc. I'd say for the money, go with Magnaflow. Its a good quality product with good flow numbers and its not hard on the wallet usually...

Re: muffler advice

i agree, the flowmaster 40 series IS nice, i had the exact same problem as you dude, the only flowmaster muffler that will fit your car is an 80's series, its specially desigened for how your exhuast bolts up, at www.summitracing.com i think it lists for around $90, which is not bad, i love mine and later on i will be getting a catback system and headers to compliment/or replace it, good luck
