Motor Will Not Start Need Help?

I have a 94 z-28 with the LT1 and I am having a lot of trouble with it. The car seems like it is fluding due the the bad gas smell, but the car will not run. It wonts to start but dont. Then I pull the two fuses to the injectors and the car will start and run for a min. untill the fuel in the system is gone. Then I put the fueses back in and the same things wont run. Need help! I was not really sure where to post this so I posted it here and in the fuel systems section. Thanks.

Dustin

Post the results of the following tests (courtesy of shoebox):

fuel:

P.S. In your sig, you don't have to put "with an LT1".

install a pressure gauge and watch for a pressure drop with the key off. if it goes down quick you have a problem. remove the vacuum hose on the back of regulator and look for fuel, if not possible injectors or fuel pump(bad pump will not cause a overfueling prob)
scan for the cts and make sure it does not think it is -40. if you hold the pedal to the floor while cranking it puts the car in clear flood mode.. check to make sure the crankcase is not full of gas...

Sounds like the injectors may be leaking and flooding the cylinders. When you try and start it, put the accel pedal on the floor, to put the PCM in "clear flood" mode. Or, possibly the coolant temp sensor is screwed up, telling the PCM the engine is colder than it really is, and the PCM is putting too much fuel in for the cold start.

SES light on? Any codes?

You have to get a hold of an OBD-I scanner and read the codes.
