Re: motor mounts

I've got a set sitting on my workbench. I'll take some pics as I go and let you know how it all went.

Re: motor mounts

I changed my motormounts probably a month ago. Just a hint, if you are going to be doing headers soon, then do them at the same time! It seems to be pretty straight forward. My problem was when I tried to jack up the motor, my y-pipe would hit against my body so I could only get the motor up like an inch...not enough. I had to unbolt that all so I could get it to come up a good 3 inches or so. Remember to unbolt the tranny mount too! On the drivers side, I had to unbolt my steering linkage. I just could not get enough room to get it out with that in the way. Its not hard to do but kind of a pain. Do you plan on going with ES poly mounts? If so, they are awesome. My old rubber ones were so distorted it wasn't even funny. My header collectors were vibrating against my k-member and it was very annoying. Well good luck with it!
