OBDI conversion help

I started suspecting that the guy who did my conversion did not put a resistor in the PCM for the knock sensor. I have the PCM open, where should the resistor be? Should it be soldered to the curcuit board? Do I need to remove the curcuit board? I need some info on how to do this.
I'm sure he did not put the resistor in. The PCM appears to have never been open.
