Question Moser 9", Leaking fluid out the breather tube

I'm leaking fluid out my breather tube. It's an 18" hose that I have tie-wrapped up above the rear. I've added a catch can to the line to "manage" the fluid. Does anybody else have this issue? The fitting in the rear is located right where the axle tube meets the pumpkin.

I have the Moser 12 bolt. It leaked through the tube when I filled the rear from the plug on the TA cover (it was too high so I put too much fluid in). After I drained it down to the level of the plug on the side of the pumpkin the problem went away. It did drip for a couple of days while any fluid in the tube was working its way out.

It's filled properly as I used the fill plug in the side of the housing. I changed the 1/8" ID breather hose to a 1/4" ID to see if that helps. I was hoping someone else has already solved this.

It must be a common problem. I noticed the oil recovery cans listed in Jegs say they work for diffs, as well...
