Moroso CAI fit a thirdgen engine bay using a stock LT1 elbow and MAF?

I dont wanna spend the 180 to ship it to my house and find out the thing won't fit . Anyone have any experience using a moroso CAI on a lt1 in a thirdgen? Thanks.

It will probably take a little modification to make it work, but it should fit for the most part. Which side of the car is your battery on?

Passenger obviously, wouldn't be able to use the stock lt1 elbow if not. Yea, I really dont feel like modding a CAI kit though which is why im asking, i'd make my own if im gonna go through that kinda trouble.

You could flip it around if your battery was on the driver side. I was just asking because in my 87 GTA, the battery was on the driver side.

Mine too, I switch it though. If I flipped the elbow, i'd have to extend the wires for the maf and IAT and also the vacuum to my opti.

There's always the Home Depot special. PVC pipe and some 3.5" silicon tube from Napa.

10 layers of chrome paint looks pretty good on PVC pipe. Been there, done that.
