I just picked up a Kenwood head unit, MB Quarts, and a JL Audio 300/2 amp from a buddy. Question concerns how well the amp and pulleys will get along.

Probably not very well. Most pulley manufacturers say right off the bat that their products are NOT recommended for vehicles with high powered stereo systems. March is the only manufacturer that I know of that claims that their pullies don't effect the charging system.
